The metaverse is a notion that is being explored as having the potential to be a constant in today's world of uncertainties. 

As a result, the exciting Metaverse opportunities in the automobile sector are attracting users to experience pomp and circumstance on their way to services that have become routine by now. 

To ‘verse’ about ‘meta’ in the automotive market, many well-known brands are now seeing it as a part of virtual world investment. Companies such as Nissan, Audi, WayRay, Here Technologies, and others have been working on AR/VR/MR-based metaverse infotainment systems for several months. 

In line with this, Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat launches a Metaverse Store in its native nation and is offering test drives of its newest 500 La Prima model.

Fiat's digital strategy aims to revolutionize customer service and provide a complete sales experience. Fiat collaborated with the metaverse company Touchcast and Microsoft to create a human-assisted, realistic, and stress-free car-buying experience.

Customers are not required to use VR or other hardware to be in the Fiat Metaverse Store. To enable the immersive experience, the automotive brand uses Touchcast's Metaverse-as-a-Service built on the Microsoft Cloud.

Users can access the Fiat Metaverse Store and be guided through three steps: first, configuring the new 500 La Prima by Bocelli; second, learning its features; and last, purchasing the automobile online.

Fiat CEO and Global Stellantis CMO Olivier Francois emphasized the significance of this sort of experience for the brand's development. He stated,

“The Fiat metaverse store is the industry's first of its kind. It's a fantastic experience: an engaging human-driven voyage into the Fiat universe. Simple and user-friendly, pursuing the philosophy of 'tech it easy,' and accessible for everyone.”

These initiatives from Fiat and other automobile companies help the adoption of the metaverse sector among individuals. As CoinGabbar also earlier reported, the metaverse has the true potential to bloom in the future.

The scope of the metaverse in the automobile sector is enormous. The Metaverse's engagement in Auto commerce is seeing several use cases from various brands demonstrating the fact that targeting consumer preferences and business objectives can bring in combined benefits of the real and virtual worlds. 

Looking ahead to the destination of the virtual world existence, the evolution will be strong enough to affect people's way of life, and opportunities to enhance standards will be enormous.
