Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan revealed additional details

About the blockchain-powered e-Human project ahead of Turkey's national blockchain summit.

As per reports, the e-Human project will be built on blockchain technology to safeguard all services, data, and capabilities used by the system.

Despite its sci-fi name, Turkey's e-Human project serves as a digital service point for the Turkish Presidency to exchange data and technologies linked to career, remote education, and talent acquisition.

Students, recent graduates, and public workers can use the e-Human platform to find employment and internship possibilities in the public and private sectors, accredited training for public employees, career fairs hosted in Turkey, events, and educational content. The project's goal is to improve residents' employability and development.

Previously, Turkey's national automobile company TOGG established a strategic relationship with Ava Labs, the developer of the Avalanche blockchain, to build secure and rapid mobility services using smart contracts.

Turkey was known as a crypto-friendly country until President Erdoan declared an all-out war against the usage of cryptocurrency. In April 2021, the country banned cryptocurrency payments for local goods and services.

While the government was anti-crypto, it continued to explore the ecosystem and establish its own blockchain ventures. The country has even said that it intends to build a National Blockchain Infrastructure. However, the pandemic may have prompted a halt because no updates were issued after the initial statement.

The Turkish population's adoption of cryptocurrency stands in sharp contrast to the government's position. Several worldwide events, such as Istanbul Blockchain Week and Blockchain Economy Istanbul, take place in the nation. The local development ecosystem is also working hard to bring the next DevCon, a major Ethereum developer event, to Istanbul.

As per recent statistics from sources, Turkey has one of the fastest-growing crypto marketplaces. Sources’ 2022 Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index revealed that Turkey is among the top 20 nations in terms of crypto adoption.
