The Swap Widget was unveiled on Thursday by Uniswap Labs, the firm behind the popular decentralised finance (defi) system Uniswap. Developers and decentralised app (dapp) operators can use the widget to incorporate the Uniswap decentralised exchange (dex) app with "one line of code." Uniswap, one of the most popular decentralised exchanges in terms of transaction volume, has announced the release of a new widget tool that allows dapp owners to incorporate Uniswap into their third-party apps. Integration is simple, according to the Uniswap blog post announcing the new Swap Widget since it just takes a single React component and one line of code. On Thursday, the business started, "We envisage a future in which everyone has access to fair, open, and transparent marketplaces." "The Swap Widget brings this vision closer to reality by letting developers simply incorporate Uniswap exchanging functionality within their apps, allowing users to effortlessly trade tokens, join a community or DAO, wrap assets, and more without ever leaving their apps." The Swap Widget has a customised user interface, and it "bundles Uniswap Labs' Auto Router to discover the cheapest price across Uniswap v2 + v3 token pools" for pricing. Layer two (L2) chains such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism are likewise connected to the widget. The Swap Widget is already accessible in a number of popular Web3 apps, according to Uniswap, including Oasis.app, Friends With Benefits, and others like the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Open sea. As of Thursday, the widget is fully functional and can be embedded into a Web3 application using Uniswap's developer documentation. Swap Widget users who want to ask questions or seek technical help should join the group's Discord channel. With $1.11 billion in 24-hour volume, Uniswap v3 had the highest trading volume out of a bevvy of dex protocols at the time of writing. According to dex platform data, there are 479 distinct tokens and 923 pairs accessible on Uniswap.
