Co-founder Eth calls for network upgrades for easier Eth payments

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has highlighted the need to improve the network to make Ether payments smoother. In a recent blog post, he recounted how he had to overpay for tea in Argentina because of the minimum deposit on the owner's exchange account, and how two transactions failed due to "extra gas to process the transfer" and a UI glitch in his mobile wallet. 

Buterin also mentioned unpredictable transaction times and said even experts could be confused about how to speed up transactions. He urged for better user interfaces and clearer indications of how to solve transaction problems.
