Solana's IONET CEO Resigns Amid Allegations; New CEO Announced
Ahmed Shadid, co-founder and CEO of IO.NET, has announced his resignation from the decentralized AI computing and cloud platform.
Tory Green, the COO and co-founder, will step into the CEO role following Shadid's departure.
Shadid cited allegations of fraudulent activities against him as a reason for stepping down, aiming to prevent distractions and allow IO.NET to focus on growth.
Shadid expressed gratitude towards the team, partners, and community, donating 1 million IO tokens from his share to support the ecosystem.
IO.NET unveiled its tokenomics, with 800 million IO tokens in total, 500 million available at launch, and 300 million to be issued over 20 years.
Binance has selected IO.NET as its 55th Launchpool project, making it the first exchange to list the IO token, with trading starting on June 11 at 12:00 (UTC).
