The Relative Strength Index is a momentum indicator that looks at the pace of recent price changes to determine whether a stock is ripe for a rally or a selloff. The RSI oscillates between zero and 100. In technical analysis, an RSI of above 70 is considered an overbought area while an RSI of less than 30 is considered as an oversold area.
