Considering this to be true, lakhs of people started joining OneCoin and Crypto Queen Ruja carried out a crypto scam of Rs 30,000 crore.

When people became suspicious and wanted to demand answers from Ruja, Ruja Ignatova ran away. According to one source, Ruja Ignatova had absconded in 2017 itself. Not only this, he is also included in the list of the 10 most wanted by American investigative agency FBI. However, OneCoin co-founder Karl Greenwood has been in police custody since 2018. Recently, Karl was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the District Court of the Southern District of New York and was also ordered to pay about $300 million.
