Date for Hard Fork Suggested by Cardano Developer's Input and Output

Cardano's developer Input Output revealed on Twitter, following a number of delays and postponements, that the Vasil Hard Fork Mainnet had to be run and controlled securely before it went live. The article continues by describing three markers that will decide when the hard fork's mainnet deployment will take place.

First, it was explained that the final candidate for the Vasil node must produce 75% of the mainnet blocks. Then, according to Utoday, approximately 25 exchanges representing the majority of available liquidity must be onboarded before the upgrade occurs.

Before the mainnet update is initiated, the top Cardano-based decentralised applications (dapps) must upgrade to node version 1.35.3 Minswap.
