Crypto Assets price Updates (25-May): BNB, BTC, MATIC Gain amid Crypto Market crash gloom
After tumbling below $1.26 trillion on Tuesday, the global crypto market cap has recovered.
According to CoinGabbar, the crypto market cap was $1.29 trillion at the time of writing, up 2.17 per cent from the previous day.
Following a catastrophic drop and widespread concern, the cryptocurrency market has been battling to recover for several days. It has been stuck between $1.24 and $1.31 trillion, with analysts predicting that recovery will take longer this time.
Meanwhile, the price of Bitcoin has risen 2.9 7percent in the last 24 hours, putting it back above $30,000 for the first time.
Over the last 24 hours, the entire cryptocurrency market volume fell 14.17 per cent to $71.80 billion. The overall volume in DeFi was $7.92 billion, accounting for 11.1 per cent of the total 24-hour volume in the crypto market. The 24-hour volume of stable coins was $62.99 billion, accounting for 87.74 per cent of the total crypto market volume. Over the course of the day, Bitcoin's dominance as the most valuable crypto asset climbed by 0.28 per cent to 44.7 per cent. In the last seven days, the price of Bitcoin has dropped by 0.63 per cent. Bitcoin was worth $30,066 at the time of publication.
Over the past week, while BTC traded below $30,000, the crypto fear and greed index fell to its second lowest level in its history. As long as BTC price levels do not register uptrends above key price levels, gloomy sentiment is expected to persist.
