Marathon's 105 million shares traded in 24 hours outpace major blue-chip stocks. Bitcoin miners, including Riot Platforms, see increased trading activity amid expansion efforts ahead of the ETF approval and Bitcoin halving. Marathon Digital and Riot Platforms have gained 767% and 452% year-to-date, outperforming Bitcoin's 163% growth in 2023.

  • Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin proposes reducing the Ethereum blockchain load by lowering the required number of signatures for validators. He suggests a more manageable level, around 8,192 signatures per slot, aiming for technical simplification, increased quantum resistance, and improved accessibility for ordinary participants.

  • Former U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly sold 1,075 Ethereum (ETH), valued at around $2.4 million, from his NFT collections. The sales were executed through transfers to Coinbase since December 8. Trump's Ethereum balance had peaked at $4 million before the selling spree, and the funds were generated from NFTs, including his "Mugshot Edition." Despite his previous criticism of cryptocurrencies, Trump continues to engage with the digital asset space, utilizing NFTs as part of his campaign for the 2024 election.

  • After being overshadowed by Solana, Ethereum (ETH) surged 8.9% in the last 24 hours, rekindling bullish sentiment.
