Elon Musk Might Lose

The legal battle between Elon Musk and social media behemoth Twitter is heating up.

The world's richest man recently cited a whistleblower's claim about bot data to terminate the $44 billion acquisition deal.

As per reports, Twitter now claims that Elon Musk's own data scientists are unable to support the bot charges. Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed that the social media platform submitted incorrect bot data. The number of fraudulent accounts on Twitter is far greater than the company estimates.

This finding, however, comes ahead of the major trial, which begins in October. According to Charles Gasparino, a Fox journalist, the Chancery court will rule in favor of Twitter.

He added that Arbs are skeptical of whistleblower reports about BOTs. They are doubtful that this will help Elon Musk to get a favorable decision.

What does Twitter claim?

According to reports, Twitter attorneys testified in a Delaware court that documents received during discovery revealed that Elon Musk employed two different advisors. Cyabra and CounterAction estimated the amount of spam on the social media platform.

They stated that there is around 11% and 5% spam running on Twitter, respectively. However, it is believed that reports were delivered to Elon Musk barely a day before he announced his termination plans. Meanwhile, the social media behemoth is challenging both experts' methodologies.

In order to gain more clarity, Twitter asked the court to order Elon Musk to share more facts from the data scientist reports. Lawyers claim that they have engaged in a practice of delaying and obstructing proceedings during the past two months. However, Musk's attorneys refute this claim.

COINGABBAR VIEWS: On July 13, Elon Musk has been sued by Twitter Inc. in an effort to compel him to carry out the $44 billion deal to purchase the social media platform. Twitter claims that since Musk signed the contract with the company, he has frequently broken the terms of the arrangement.
