Legendary Musician AR Rahman Launches Metaverse Platform ‘Katraar’

AR Rahman, the famous composer and music director, celebrated his 

56th birthday on Friday. AR Rahman, an Oscar winner, announced the launch of his "Katraar" metaverse platform on the occasion of his birthday. 

Rahman shared the video about the development on his social media accounts with a humorous caption. Rahman said, 

“I'm delighted to announce that KATRAAR, the metaverse platform now in development, is moved one step closer to launching. And I'm excited to share this experience with you all.”

The legendary musician is opening up new doors for aspiring musicians. However, his digital music platform is where musicians may immediately post their songs and earn money from them. Rahman's original works will also be made available on the Katraar platform.

This Metaverse platform will soon feature a wide range of works from all over the world. The HBAR foundation is helping to develop the platform, which will be available via the Hedera Network.

Rahman is well-known for his musical talents as well as his worldwide collaborations. Director Mani Ratnam took notice of him, and Rahman began creating music for his Tamil film "Roja." He later worked for Bombay and Dil Se. He won two Academy Awards. In addition, he has received six national film prizes and the Padma Bhushan.

Kartik previously announced the metaverse space

Tamil musician Karthik, who will perform in the metaverse, earlier announced India's first music NFTs. Karthik launched the music NFTs on April 14 as part of his metaverse concept. Jupiter Meta, one of India's first NFT marketplaces, will list the NFTs.

The introduction of NFT is a watershed moment in the music industry since it gives artists ownership of their creative work and connects them with their audience. NFTs will benefit artists and makers in a variety of ways. These music videos will create a sense of ownership and financial flexibility in their listeners.
