A new NFT release including music industry superstars like Snoop Dogg and Billy Ray Cyrus is bringing together music communities from all genres, as well as blockchain ecosystems.

Animal Concerts, a new collection from the Mint NFT marketplace and metaverse entertainment platform, does this across the musical genre spectrum as well as blockchain networks.
The collection, "A Hard Working Man" features crypto-savvy hip-hop sensation Snoop Dogg alongside country music superstars Billy Ray Cyrus and the Avila Brothers. The collection's highlights include physi-digital experiences with digital artwork and in-person concert rewards.
Colin Fitzpatrick, the founder and CEO of Animal Concerts, emphasised the "huge existing fan bases" of all three artists in the collection, as well as how Web3 allows these existing communities to develop.
This cross-genre collaboration will debut on the newly launched Minted Launchpad platform.
Minted Launchpad adheres to the concept of cross-genre collaborations by allowing users to mint, purchase, and trade NFTs that are native to both the Ethereum and Cronos blockchains. Additionally, at the end of Q4 2022, a limited number of tokens will be able to be minted on Crypto.com NFT.
Such compilations not only bridge the gap between genres and blockchains, but as Minted's director, Matt Wan, commented:
“It will also help to bridge the gap between users of Web2 and Web3.”
Users of the Minted launchpad platform will be able to browse digital asset collections from both ecosystems. Initially, "A Hard Working Man" was announced in April of this year, with artwork created in collaboration with Cointelegraph.
Snoop Dogg has been noted for his engagement in the crypto-scene through several NFT projects and even putting Bored Ape Yacht Club avatars into a music video.
Similarly, NFTs have catered to followers of various genres, including opera, with NFTs focusing on the classical music community, and country music with Dolly Parton's Dollyverse.
However, this country and hip-hop crossover demonstrates how Web3 can take fan bases that are generally restricted to their respective genres and create totally new communities. Music NFTs have the potential to turn listeners and fans into an engaged ecosystem.
