The reasons for this is a recent tweet by its pseudonymous founder and lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama.
Shiba Inu fans were taken by surprise last week when Shytoshi Kusama shared a piece of important news. The news announced the launch of a forthcoming project in the community that is expected to benefit its holders.
Kusama's tweet is said to be related to a planned burning mechanism for one of the community's initiatives.
Kusama's Recent Tweet Garnered Attention
In an address to the Shib Army on September 17, Kusama stated: "There will be burns from the gaming period. Once the blockchain version is available, further details will explain why ShibaEternity is powerful, challenging, and beneficial to Shib, Shiboshi holders, and Shibarium.”
Furthermore, in response to one of the users' tweets, Kusama stated: "I will explain it thoroughly right before download day. There will be A LOT to talk about since this is far more than a game.”
Based on these tweets, it appears like Shiba Inu development is working on something in Shiba Eternity that will help limit the overall circulating quantity of SHIB while also allowing players to enjoy the CCG. Furthermore, the community is anticipating Kusama's release of additional details ahead of the game's Download Day.
There is speculation that the aforementioned news is related to what they indicated in December of last year.
Last year, the lead developer tweeted: "ALL NEW PLATFORMS WILL HAVE $SHIB BURNS." ( Shibaswap version 2, Shibarium, Shibanet)." The game is the one exception. However, there is a reason behind this. It's interesting to note that GossipShib, a former member of the Shiba Inu development team, retweeted this tweet last month.
Launch of “Shiba Eternity” in Australia
Shiba Inu's blockchain-based card game, Shiba Eternity, was released in Australia last week. The next launch is expected to be the game's formal release to all regions across the world via Download Day.
