Terraform Labs will stop supporting Terra Station for Terra Classic (LUNC) unless Terra Rebels makes changes.
Terra Rebels claims that Terra Classic (LUNC) will discontinue supporting Terra Station and require costly and time-consuming L1 modification to work with the new Station.

In order to foster decentralisation and become a cross-chain wallet application for the Terra and Feather/Alliance chains, Terraform Labs will change its name from "Terra Station" to "Station." According to Terra Rebels, the Terra Classic (LUNC) network will stop supporting Terra Station and will need expensive and time-consuming L1 modification to be compatible with the new Station.
While this is going on, LUNC DAO claims that it is up to the Terra Classic community and Terra Rebels to secure free integration with TFL's new Station and utilise the IBC channels. LUNC will continue to be supported by the current Terra Station, Trust Wallet, XDefi, Rebels Station, and other systems.
The community's desire to break away from the TFL and Do Kwon is something that Terra Rebels has already mentioned in the Terra Classic Revival Roadmap. FUD has been spread among the Terra Classic community due to unfortunate circumstance.
In order to receive support on cross-chain Station, TFL required Terra Rebels to alter the wallet prefix, carry out parity upgrades, and build new IBC channels and relayers with the V2 chain by December 15th. Client support for Terra Station interfaces will still be offered.
To force the community to relocate to Rebel Station, Terra Rebels has, however, made a community pool spending request. Over time, Terra Station will stop providing support for LUNC. Since the team has been working on it for the past three weeks, TFL's Jared shared with Terra Rebels that the internal deadline is December 14.
The proposal from Terra Rebels will take two months to complete and will cost the Terra Classic neighborhood $150,000. The community is still unsure whether it can trust the developers at this time. However, LUNC is kept on the Columbus 5-based chain rather than Terra Station or Rebels Station.
Additionally, users can easily switch their wallets to the Rebel Station by importing their private keys or utilizing their mnemonic phrases. No need to remove stakes or transfer coins.
The price of LUNC is consistent despite the FUD surrounding Terra Station's decision to stop supporting Terra Classic. As of this writing, the price of LUNC is $0.0001710, down 1.64% from the previous day.
