Top cryptocurrency news: Shiba Inu gets surpassed by this token to become the largest ETH whale holding.

For a very long time, the biggest Ethereum (ETH) whales' preferred cryptocurrency has been Shiba Inu (SHIB). 

The SHIB cryptocurrency has been overshadowed by a fresh addition to the largest ETH wallets.

SLV surpasses the Shiba Inu

Silverway (SLV) has replaced the Shiba Inu token as the largest token held among the top 1000 Ethereum wallets, according to whalestats. However, it also stated that Shiba Inu made the list of the whales' most utilised smart contracts during the previous 24 hours.

As we look deeper, evidence shows that Silverway is the token that the top 100 whales hold the most of. But among the same whales, SLV has also grown to be the largest token in terms of dollar worth.

The top 100 wallets are reportedly holding Silverway tokens worth more than $21.42 billion. Over 91 percent of the overall holdings are made up of it. However, for any whale, it would cost an enormous sum to possess any cryptocurrency. The top 500 whales, according to data from the whale tracker, currently hold SLV tokens worth about $188.8 million.

Approximately the last 24 hours, silverway prices have increased by over 13%. As of the time of publication, it is trading at an average price of $0.000115. No such increase in its market cap is visible in the interim. However, the amount of its 24 hour trade has increased by more than 13116 percent.

Holding of SHIB falls amid ETH whales

Shiba Inu's top whales, on the other hand, have decreased to $510 million. It now only accounts for 2.1 percent of all assets. On the list of the top sold tokens by the top 100 ETH whales over the last 24 hours, SHIB tokens are ranked fifth.

Prices for shiba increased by a negligible 1.5 percent over the previous day. As of the time of publication, it is trading at an average price of $0.000012. SHIB's 24-hour trading volume has increased by more than 40% to $675.7 million. In the meanwhile, the market valuation of the Shiba Inu token has overtaken that of the TRON (TRX) token.
