Twitter Gets New Fea

Elon Musk, a fan of Dogecoin, has hinted in a recent tweet about a "higher cost" Twitter Blue subscription that will be free of advertisements.

Elon Musk announced in a tweet on Saturday that his recently bought Twitter would offer a brand-new Blue subscription that would be "more expensive" and remove adverts from the microblogging service. The current $7.99 per month Twitter Blue subscription offers 50% fewer adverts when compared to "non-verified persons," even though this capability hasn't yet been made available.

The New Blue Plan on Twitter

It's probable that Elon would provide a more expensive subscription that does not include ads in order to address Blue's low membership numbers and the 40% decline in ad revenue, which CoinGabbar has already revealed. Musk asserts that Twitter is also developing a system to reduce the quantity and amount of advertisements displayed on Twitter.

The Dogecoin enthusiast was cited as saying, "Twitter ads are too big and too frequent." Taking action in the upcoming weeks to address both

Despite the billionaire's silence over the new price, industry insiders estimate it to be in the $15–$16 range. The current Blue subscription offers benefits including a blue "confirmed" marking, the ability to edit tweets after they have been posted, a way to upload longer 1080p videos, a reader mode for threads, and priority placement in chats. An extra $8 will be charged to access each of these features.

The Attempt To Monetize Twitter

Musk has been seeking to diversify the business's economy away from revenue from advertising since he bought the platform in October. He is counting on income from "Twitter Blue" membership fees to help him reach this objective. Twitter presently charges a $3 surcharge to Blue sign-ups that come from iOS or Android smartphones in order to make up for the commission that Apple and Google deduct from in-app purchases.

Since its relaunch in December, Blue has been available on iOS as a premium subscription for $11 per month. Twitter started providing Blue to Android users on Thursday for the same cost. Additionally, a one-year subscription can be purchased for the discounted price of $84 here.
