The Ministry of Economy of the UAE has announced a new

Headquarters in the Metaverse, which anyone around the world can visit.

According to a local media outlet, the statement was made on September 28 by UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri. The announcement was revealed during the Dubai Metaverse Assembly. At the same time, the minister stressed that this is not a proof of concept and that this is our third address before offering a live tour of the virtual headquarters.

The headquarters will be a multi-story structure, with each floor playing a unique role. Visitors will be able to take a ticket, which will prompt a customer satisfaction center employee to enter the Metaverse and interact with the visitor.

The new headquarters will complement the ministry's existing operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It enables the ministry to make digital services a broader component of its operations in response to UAE leadership directives.

Visitors to the virtual headquarters will be able to sign legally binding documents, eliminating the need for signatories to travel to one of their physical locations.

The headquarters also includes an auditorium for virtual conferences and other events, as well as meeting rooms where users may share a screen.

The announcement follows the Dubai government's Metaverse strategy, which was unveiled on July 18 and intends to create 40,000 virtual jobs by 2030. Also, to assist the government's vision of increasing the present number of blockchain companies.
