Coin Info

Haven Protocol is like an offshore bank where users can make private tokens that represent stable and volatile assets, like commodities and fiat currencies (such as USD). The protocol is based on Monero, which is focused on secure, private, and untraceable transactions.

As a result, most of the features of Monero carry over to the Haven protocol, including bulletproofs and other privacy tech. Haven's base currency is the XHV, which is burned to give users xAssets, which are private, untraceable, synthetic assets and commodities.

The network uses a "mint and burn" process to give users untraceable digital assets with standard market prices and real asset-pegged value storage. Simply, users can burn Haven (XHV) to get Haven Dollars (xUSD), which is a fake stablecoin.

At first, Haven Protocol's first proposed design was thought to be impossible due to the complicated cryptography and math, as well as the fact that the codebase was kept secret. Like Monero, the platform also uses proof-of-fungibility. The proof-of-fungibility allows different asset classes to be compared based on their monetary value instead of just the number of tokens exchanged.

The platform's unique feature is the completely secure and private fake currencies and assets. Also, the "mint and burn" strategy allows for a dynamic change in the amount of the underlying assets that are in circulation. This strategy also makes it possible to keep Haven's value the same as its pegged asset.
