Fully Diluted Valuation

The market cap if the max supply was in circulation.

Fully-diluted market cap (FDMC) = price x max supply. If max supply is null, FDMC = price x total supply. if max supply and total supply are infinite or not available, fully-diluted market cap shows - -.

As a cross-chain router protocol (CRP), Multichain is a way for on-chain assets to work together. It is hoped that it will be the best router for Web3.

Multichain started out as Anyswap on July 20, 2020, to help different blockchains talk to each other, which was a clear need. Each blockchain has its own set of services, its own community, and its own way of building things. For our industry to move to the next level for consumers, we need a fast, safe, cheap, and reliable way for the chains to exchange value, data, and control.

Multichain's solutions make it possible for almost all blockchains to work together. There is no limit on Ethereum-like chains (like Binance Smart Chain) or Layer 2 chains that require finality like Ethereum (like Polygon) or a network of Parachains (like Moonbeam in the PolkaDot system) or Bitcoin-like chains (like Litecoin) or COSMOS chains (e.g. Terra). All of these are either already integrated or are on track to be integrated. Multichain is almost universally useful as an interoperable layer because it works with all ECDSA and EdDSA encrypted chains.

The nodes in the Multichain network are called SMPC nodes. They don't belong to any blockchain and sign transactions as a group, but a group of them must do this together because each of them only knows part of the key. The SMPC nodes are run by different groups, organisations, and people, and they are given incentives to do their jobs well.
