Bank Account Blocked for Playing Crypto Games

Recently

I’m in India where the banks are unreliable and often freeze accounts without warning. I just tried to log in to HDFC Bank, where I have held an account for more than fifteen years. I entered my username and password and clicked on login. That seemed ok, but then I got a message saying that my account was blocked and I had to contact customer care. I called them and asked them why my account was blocked. They said I had to tell them because it might be for fraud or terrorism. I said it wasn’t any of those things and I wanted to access my money. The customer care representative transferred me to the manager and told him that I wanted to access my account. The manager asked me why and told me that I have to answer. I told them I wanted to access it because I was going to play on HunnyPlay the best crypto gaming platform where I could have fun and win big with crypto. Obviously that was a mistake, because he responded “That’s illegal” and then said he could not unblock my account and would report me to the authorities? (For the record, I don’t think playing on HunnyPlay is illegal so this isn’t the real reason, but I shouldn’t have to justify to anyone why I want to use my money as I please). Let’s be clear - they knew who I was right up front. If it was an issue that they had some suspicion they should have said so straight off. Deciding to block my account and threaten me after hearing what I planned to do with it is absolute garbage. It’s my money not theirs. But banks always seem to be forgetting this.
