Vietnam is rapidly emerging as a tech and blockchain talent hotbed. This May, the Vietnam Aptos Hackathon gets underway to unite developers, creators, and startups to develop the next great Web3 concepts on Aptos — an ultra-fast, potent Layer 1 blockchain.

Hosted by the Aptos Foundation, SSID, and Kyros Ventures, the hackathon invites teams of ambitious Web3 concepts.

This highly selective program targets startups from Seed to Series A stage, especially those building in three core Web3 verticals:

Hackathon Categories :

We’re inviting startups (from new ideas to Series A level) to build in three key areas:

• Web3 for Everyone – Apps for games, social networks, NFTs, prediction markets

• Payments & Finance – DeFi, instant payments, digital loans, real-world assets

• Decentralized Tech – Tools using AI, oracles, or delivering content

Teams will get expert help, access to world-class resources, technical mentorship, exclusive opportunities mentorship and a chance to pitch to global investors.

Prize Pool: Over $400,000!

Top 5 Teams:

• 1st Place Winner:
  Receives $200,000 in Google Cloud Credits along with $50,000 in Aptos Build Credits

•  2nd & 3rd Place Winners:
  Each team earns $100,000 in Cloud Credits and $25,000 in Aptos Build Credits

• 4th & 5th Place: Gift vouchers + Certificates

• All 5 Finalists: $10,000 cash per team

Special Student Track :

• Top 5 student teams receive $2,000 cash each

• All student participants receive certificates

• Top 2 student teams pitch on the main stage
