Singapore FinTech Festival 2025: Shaping Finance’s Future

Shaping the next decade of growth through AI, Tokenisation and Quantum in Financial Services

2. There will be participation from Ministers and Governors of Central Banks and policymakers, industry and technology leaders, for the first time, in keynotes, panels, roundtables, curated meetups complemented with the central theme of SFF 2025, Shaping the Next Decade of Growth. In partnership with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), and Constellar, with support from the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), this Festival marks ten years of a highly successful event, growing in 2024 to attract 65,000 attendees from 134 countries.

3.  The Festival will host world-class leaders who are leaders in connecting digital innovation with real-world social impact. Participants will hear perspectives on foundational technologies that have shaped the last 10 years of the financial sector. Speakers will include:

• Dr. Roy Fielding, who has a well-known set of Application Programmable Interface (API) design principles, is helping modern FinTech platforms to promote agility and interoperability.

• Nandan Nilekani, who was responsible for leading the ground-breaking work on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), uses technology to increase access to infrastructure for over a billion citizens and serves as an example for others globally.

• Dr. Paul Taylor, who has worked on cloud-native banking, overseeing a process of modernizing core banking platforms

• Eric Jing, who is known for his work overseeing efforts to drive inclusive growth and digitisation of the industry utilising technology innovation throughout China and beyond.

• Dr. Agustín Carstens, who through his lead at the Bank for International Settlements has spearheaded the process of establishing important innovation hubs around the world to help orient the central bank community at this time of digital transformation.

4. More than 70 dedicated sessions will cover ways in which AI, Tokenisation and Quantum Computing will revolutionise the way global finance will function over the next 10 years, including how AI can redefine aspects of risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial inclusion; how Tokenisation can enhance efficiencies of capital markets; and how the introduction of Quantum Computing will affect standards in cybersecurity and encryption. 5. SFF 2025 will include insights and reflections from over 20 exceptional founders from Singapore and across Asia. Each has pushed through challenges of the past decade, thriving as they shaped industries and ecosystems, and continue to close the momentum and innovation gap for years to come.

Connecting Policymakers, Innovators, and Investors

6. In preparation for SFF 2025, the invite-only Insights Forum™ will take place on November 10-11 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre convening regulators, policymakers, and industry leaders for two days of impactful discussions focused on shaping action and outcomes for the year ahead.

7. SFF 2025 will include special programs including: 

The Founders Peak™, Capital Meets Policy Dialogue, Investor Hours, and SFF MeetUp will connect capital, ideas, and talent to catalyze collaboration and growth. 

Innovation Lab Crawl, where attendees will explore Singapore’s game-changing FinTech ecosystem. 

The 10th Global FinTech Hackcelerator will mark a full decade of innovation. This year’s Hackcelerator will focus on AI and celebrate the best early-stage innovators that are changing the face of financial services. 

SFF 2025 will showcase the first-ever recipients of GFTN's Global Impact Champions Awards that were launched this year with the theme of Financial Health.
