Binance taps Tiktok star Khaby Lame to promote Web3 usage

In order to raise exposure for Web3, the cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance has teamed together with Khaby Lame, the most popular TikTok creator. The influencer would represent the exchange as a worldwide brand ambassador while dispelling misunderstandings about the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.
With his videos criticizing DIY content providers who overcomplicate things, Lame gained 142 million followers on the social media platform TikTok and quickly came to popularity. He does his signature technique of raising both of his hands as he offers humorous life tips that make things more simpler.
According to Binance, Lame will be producing material that dispels myths about Web3 using his recognizable content style. An official at Binance named James Rothwell claims that Lame will provide relatability as Web3 use grows. With so much ambiguity around Web3 and false information prevalent worldwide, Khaby joining the team to help dispel some of the misunderstandings surrounding this area was a natural fit, according to Rothwell.
The Tiktoker claimed in a statement that he has always been interested in Web3. Lame claims that his collaboration with Binance "aligns wonderfully" with what he often does, which is to simplify and make enjoyable complex situations. In order to provide them with fresh challenges and engaging information, he remarked, "I consider my fans to be my family."
The TikTok creator will be working with Binance to create nonfungible token (NFT) collections with the aim of boosting engagement with his followers, in addition to producing information about Web3 and dispelling falsehoods.
The TikTok star's onboarding into Binance continues the company's attempts to collaborate with well-known celebrities. Additionally, Binance and football star Cristiano Ronaldo collaborated last week to offer his followers to the Web3 realm via NFTs.
The Web3 mobile phone idea was just given a sneak peek by Solana (SOL). The device and the network's mobile stack for Web3 developers will be released simultaneously. The community's responses to the announcement were diverse, ranging from approving the release to raising concerns about the Solana network.
