The results of the independent validation indicate that the present internal controls have been effectively created, implemented, and operated to meet the criteria of the most sophisticated security practice in the sector.

The accomplishment of SOC 2 Type II Compliance is the most recent example of Crypto.com's effort to gain and retain the trust of its clients based on the company's commitment to security.

According to Crypto.com's Chief Information Security Officer, Jason Lau, “attaining SOC 2 Type II accreditation is simply another step in strengthening Crypto.com's continuous commitment to security and data privacy by design. With the ever-changing threat landscape, we will continue to maintain the highest degree of security and data privacy so that our customers may have confidence in and trust in our products.”

Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, stated that “the company would continue to spend aggressively in establishing the most trusted platform for its customers, one that adheres to the industry's highest security and privacy standards.”

Notably, the statement comes on the heels of Crypto.com's disclosure last week that it signed a pre-registration undertaking with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) in Canada and received registration approval as a crypto asset company from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
