Today Do Kwon, CEO of Terraform Labs and accused of turning billions of dollars into dust, shared a series of tweets claiming that SBF-owned Alameda Research orchestrated the depeg of LUNA stablecoin.
Do Kwon shared a report from the New York times and said, “I think the time has come for Genesis Trading to reveal if they provided the $1B UST shortly before the crash to SBF or Alameda – the purchase from LFG was represented as stemming from “interest to participate in the Terra Defi ecosystem” – not to provide ammo for a peg attack.”
Do Kwon have asked why did Alameda feel the need to borrow over a billion dollars worth of BTC from the Voyager when LUNA was about to depeg? Do Kwon also highlighted that Alameda also tried to suck up BTC from other leading firms as well as Alameda was the first holder to dump over 500 million worth of UST that started the depeg.
The point here to note is that Do Kwon claimed that SBF was directly involved in orchestrating the LUNA crash to make substantial gains from others’ losses. Do Kwon ended his series of tweets by saying, “What’s done is darkness will come to light.” Even though SBF is active in the community and sharing his POV through different media appearances, we are waiting for a response from his side on the accusation made by the CEO of LUNA.
