The popularity of the cryptocurrency market is increasing day by day, which you can guess from the fact that amid the increasing popularity, the cases of scams related to cryptocurrency are also increasing. This is not only a cause of trouble for the whole world, but it is also becoming a pain in the neck for India. While the cases of crypto scams were limited to some big cities of the country, now these cases have started reaching small districts also. One such case is in the news these days in the hill city of Himachal Pradesh, which has also been accepted by the state's Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri. This crypto scam is also not a small one but a scam of Rs 550 crores. Dehra MLA Hoshiar Singh gave information about this crypto scam. While speaking in the House, he claimed that a Crypto Scam worth crores of rupees has taken place in Himachal, out of which Rs 200 crore has taken place in Hamirpur, Rs 250 crore in Kangra and Rs 100 crore in Una. In response to this Himachal Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, while giving information in the Assembly, said that cases of cryptocurrency fraud have come from the entire state. He further said that in the desire to become rich as soon as possible, people become victims of crypto scams.
Regarding this Crypto Scam in Himachal Pradesh, Dehra MLA Hoshiar Singh is alleging that this crypto scam of more than Rs 550 crore has political protection. He said that it is impossible for such a big Crypto Scam to happen without any political protection. For this, he gave the example of his assembly constituency and said that scammers related to the matter are often seen with politicians. However, taking cognizance of the matter, SIT has been formed for investigation, which will be headed by DIG Northern Range Abhishek Dullar. So far, 6 FIRs have been registered in the matter and a total of 56 complaints have been received by the police. The government has assured that the investigation will be completed as soon as possible and the accused will be punished.
