The social networking giant Twitter is engaged in a legal dispute with Elon Musk over an unsuccessful $44 billion acquisition deal.

However, the participation of Peiter Zatko, a whistleblower with BOT data, has intensified the legal battle.

Meanwhile, another prominent cryptocurrency figure seems to be joining the fight against Twitter BOTs/scam accounts. Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple, recently tweeted about the problems that have emerged as a result of BOTs running on the social media platform.

The CEO of Ripple stated that it is embarrassing to be unable to distinguish between a genuine and a fake profile. He also stated that there are several verified fraud accounts active on Twitter. For the crypto tweets, these hoax accounts feature photos of Garlinghouse, Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum Co-Founder, and Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance.

Garlinghouse said that these scammy comments haven't been seen on Twitter in a long time. However, Ripple's CEO is still waiting for action, while a large number of fraudulent accounts are using the platform.

However, Ripple's CEO also posted the email he received from Twitter. It claims that the reported account does not violate its identification policy.

Scammy accounts creating chaos

Some cryptocurrency experts and researchers have warned about these fraudulent cryptocurrency accounts and Twitter BOT. These accounts were impersonating Binance executives and spamming Twitter threads. While Garlinghhouse's image and name are being utilized to promote bogus XRP token offerings.

Twitter is already being sued for Elon Musk's Twitter BOT claims. According to the world's richest man, the social media network provided false Twitter BOT data. It claims that there are much more fraudulent accounts on the network than the company can count.

Meanwhile, the social media giant claims that Musk's own data experts are unable to back up these assertions.
