Bitpanda Acquires Norway Licence Amid European Crypto Expansion

European Crypto Expansion by Bitpanda Via Norway Licence

A prominent European crypto exchange, Bitpanda based in Vienna has secured a virtual asset service provider licence from Norway. Bitpanda has become one of the first foreign institutions in the country to obtain this licence. The announcement of obtaining a licence was shared by Bitpanda via X on October 19. Bitpanda also has licences in several European jurisdictions like Austria, Germany, France, Czechia and Sweden apart from Norway. This registration is another step in the company's expansion in Europe as said by Bitpanda Deputy CEO Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad.
