Eth Completes Shapella Hard Fork on Testnet Ahead of Mainnet Launch

 Eth completes the Shapella Hard Fork on Testnet.

The Shapella hard fork has been executed on the Goerli testnet, the last test run before the fork on the Ethereum mainnet, which is expected to occur in early April. The upgrade will allow partial and full withdrawals, potentially unlocking over $30 billion at current prices. 

However, testnet validators' failure to upgrade their client software caused processing issues, and the fork's launch was delayed due to network participation being below the required threshold. The most anticipated Ethereum Investment Proposal, EIP-4895, will move Ethereum one step closer to a fully functional proof-of-stake system.
