Filecoin has launched Filecoin Web Services (FWS), a cloud computing project that aims to compete with dominant players such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). FWS seeks to offer cloud-level developer experience and decentralized network transparency. However, despite the announcement, the Filecoin (FIL) price has been disappointing, currently trading just above the $5.07 support level. The community is reportedly swapping to Bitcoin, as they are dissatisfied with the performance of FIL.
