FSB, IMF, and BIS Papers Will Create a Global Crypto Framework

The G20 announced that the FSB, IMF, and BIS will establish global crypto regulatory framework standards via papers and recommendations. By July, the FSB will deliver recommendations on the regulation, supervision, and oversight of stablecoins and crypto assets activities. 

FSB and IMF to release joint "synthesis paper" on crypto assets' macroeconomic and regulatory perspectives in September. The IMF will also report on the potential macro-financial implications of the widespread adoption of CBDCs. The announcement followed two days of meetings in India.
