Binance to Cease Visa Debit Card Services in European Economic Area

Visa Debit Card Services Stopped by Binance in EEA 

Binance will cease its Visa debit card services in the European Economic Area (EEA) on December 20. This card allowed users to convert crypto amounts present in Binance accounts into local currencies. The decision originates from Binance's card issuer, Contis Financial Services, ending card issuance. Binance assured that its exchange accounts won't be affected, but approximately 1% of users in the EEA will be impacted. This step adds to Binance's recent challenges, including the suspension of euro deposits and withdrawals and the loss of service providers in the UK. Mastercard also terminated its partnership with Binance in some countries.
