Indonesia Ready to Launch National Crypto Exchange for Transactions

Indonesia is getting ready to launch its own national cryptocurrency exchange, which will be the only platform allowed for crypto transactions in the country. The exchange is expected to start operating in July 2023. The regulatory agency in charge of this initiative, called CFTRA, has finalized the rules for the stock exchange and tested the integrated application for trading. All cryptocurrency transactions in Indonesia will have to go through this exchange. The government aims to keep crypto sales within the country but in line with international market trends. Licensed traders will have one month to join the exchange once the permit is signed.
