Jack Dorsey, Twitter's co-founder, has launched a new micro-blogging platform called Bluesky. The app is currently in invite-only beta testing and has been installed around 2,000 times. Unlike Twitter, Bluesky asks "What's up?" instead of "What is happening?" Users can create a post of up to 256 characters with photos. While more advanced tools like adding accounts to lists are not yet available, users can share, mute, and block accounts. Bluesky's discover tab provides users with "who to follow" suggestions and a feed of recently posted updates. There is no DM feature on the platform yet.
