Montana Passes Bill Protecting Cryptocurrency Miners'Rights Short News

Montana's House of Representatives passed Bill 178, protecting

 cryptocurrency miners' rights, and prohibiting local authorities from obstructing their operations. The legislation also establishes a "digital asset mining right" and forbids discriminatory electricity rates and extra taxes on using cryptocurrency. The bill will now head to Governor Greg Gianforte for approval. A similar bill passed in Arizona and is waiting for the governor's decision.
