MultiversX Implements Innovative 2FA Mechanism for Enhance Security

Blockchain protocol MultiversX has introduced a unique two-factor authentication (2FA) mechanism to enhance security. Users can now enable a guardian service, which utilizes popular authenticator apps or biometrics to provide a second signature for transactions. This innovative approach requires two signatures—one from the account owner and another from the guardian—to process outgoing transactions on the blockchain. Unlike other solutions, MultiversX's guardian service doesn't require additional private keys or compromise the backup scheme. CEO Beniamin Mincu believes this device-based 2FA protection could revolutionize the industry without sacrificing user experience. Cryptocurrency exchanges like Kraken have previously made 2FA mandatory for added security.
