SEC is delaying approving the listing of Bitcoin ETF
USA Representatives Mike Flood, Wiley Nickel, Tom Emmer and Ritchie Torres have asked the SEC to immediately approve the listing of a spot Bitcoin exchange and traded fund (ETF). Because the SEC has once again delayed its decision on ETFs. When it comes to spotting ETFs from VanEck and ARK 21Shares, currently the SEC has delayed the decision till December 25 and January 10. Whereas GlobalX will have to wait till November 21 for the commission's decision. Along with this, SEC has also delayed the decision on Invesco, Bitwise and Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF applications. It is believed that the reason behind SEC delaying the decision may be linked to the narrowly avoided shutdown by the US government, which would have disrupted the country's finance regulators and other federal agencies.
