32 Addresses Related to Terrorist Activity Freezed by Tether

Stable coin issuer Tether, in collaboration with local enforcement agencies, has frozen 32 addresses linked to terrorist activity in Israel and Ukraine. In which approximately $873,118 value related to illegal activities has been confiscated. This action was taken in collaboration with Israel's National Bureau for Counter Terrorist Financing. Meanwhile, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino has emphasised that cryptocurrency transactions can be easily traced on Blockchain platforms, which will allow Tether to prevent the use of USDT linked to terrorist funding. Tether is estimated to have accumulated approximately $835 million in USDT, which is largely linked to the blockchain and cryptocurrency exchange hack. Along with this, Tether has included its dollar based stablecoin to cooperate with 32 countries and deal with cyber activity.
