The issuer of world’s largest stablecoin, Tether has appointed a new CEO Paolo Ardoino, current Chief Technology Officer to serve in December 2023. While remaining the CEO of Tether’s sister company Bitfinex , Jean-Louis van der Velde will transition to an advisory role. Including areas like peer-to-peer communications, renewable energy, data storage, and Bitcoin mining, this move is part of Tether’s expansion strategy.
