Coinbase users will be able to deposit USDC tokens directly to Polygon

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced the addition of the Polygon (MATIC) network to its multi-chain availability for USDC. According to the report, USDC tokens can now be deposited directly onto the Polygon Network by users. Previously only USDC. an abridged version of the USDC token, was available on Polygon Network and the abridged version was not supported by the stablecoin's distributor Circle. With this, there has been a significant increase in the adoption of USDC on Polygon Network. According to statistics, USDC.e volume has reached approximately $475 Billion on Polygon PoS over the past 24 months and processes approximately 1 in every 10 transactions.
