Central Bank of Ireland Officially Recognized Ripple

Ripple Registered as a Virtual Asset Service Provider

The Central Bank of Ireland has officially recognized Ripple, the backer of the cryptocurrency XRP, as a registered Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). 

Ripple's Irish subsidiary, Ripple Markets Ireland Limited, is now included in the list. This acknowledgment allows Ripple Markets to offer digital asset services in Ireland under the MiCA legislation, regulating virtual asset providers in the European Union since 2022
