Turkey has one of the most active cryptocurrency markets in the region, and Turkish investors can now choose from a growing number of locally operated crypto platforms.
For most users, however, the right exchange is not necessarily the one with the longest list of trading tools.
Turkish lira support, trading costs, available cryptocurrencies, ease of use, withdrawal options and the regulatory position of the platform are all important factors to consider.
This guide compares six crypto platforms available to investors in Turkey in 2026, including both crypto-focused exchanges and platforms designed for people who want a simpler investment experience.
| Platform | Particularly Suitable For | TRY Support | Trading Style | Notable Feature |
| Midas Kripto | Beginners and multi-asset investors | Yes | Simple investing | 300+ crypto assets, staking and wider Midas investment ecosystem |
| Binance TR | Active crypto users | Yes | Exchange-style trading | Large TRY trading ecosystem |
| BtcTurk | Local crypto traders | Yes | Basic + advanced trading | Established Turkish crypto platform |
| Paribu | Users wanting different trading interfaces | Yes | Beginner to advanced | Multiple trading views, staking and DeFi features |
| OKX TR | More active traders | Yes | Advanced spot trading | Competitive maker/taker structure |
| Bybit TR | Spot-focused traders | Yes | Exchange-style trading | Tiered trading structure |
Importantly, users should distinguish between platforms specifically operating within Turkey's regulatory framework and overseas exchanges that may be accessible from Turkey but are not necessarily authorized to target Turkish residents.
Midas Kripto is one of the newer major entrants to Turkey's cryptocurrency market, but its approach is different from that of a traditional crypto-only exchange.
The platform focuses on making cryptocurrency investing relatively simple rather than surrounding users with professional trading functionality from the beginning.
Midas Kripto currently provides access to more than 300 crypto assets, including major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum as well as altcoins across categories including DeFi, AI, memecoins and other crypto sectors.
It also offers flexible staking for selected cryptocurrencies. Midas currently highlights staking for assets including ETH, SOL and USDT, with users able to trade supported assets without a traditional fixed lock-up period. The application also provides access to DeFi-related opportunities.
Midas uses a relatively straightforward volume-based crypto commission structure.
| Monthly Trading Volume | Commission |
| TRY 0–10 million | 0.15% |
| TRY 10–100 million | 0.12% |
| Above TRY 100 million | 0.10% |
Unlike maker/taker models, users do not need to determine whether an order adds or removes liquidity to understand the headline commission rate.
One of its main differentiators is its connection to the broader Midas investment ecosystem.
Through Midas, users can access investment products including Borsa Istanbul shares, U.S. stocks, investment funds, European markets, futures and options, while crypto services are provided separately by Midas Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş.
This makes the platform particularly relevant to investors who do not view cryptocurrency as their only asset class.
Why investors may consider it
•    300+ crypto assets
•    Direct TRY investing
•    Simple volume-based fees
•    Flexible staking for selected assets
•    DeFi discovery
•    Mobile-first interface
•    Connection to a broader investment ecosystem
Things to consider
Midas Kripto is designed primarily around a straightforward investment experience. Traders looking for highly specialized professional trading tools may prefer a more traditional exchange interface.
Suitable for: Beginners, long-term crypto investors and users who want crypto alongside stocks, funds and other investments.
Binance TR is Binance's locally operated Turkish platform and remains one of the better-known options for users who want a conventional cryptocurrency exchange experience with Turkish lira support.
The platform offers TRY trading pairs alongside crypto-to-crypto markets and uses a tiered maker/taker pricing structure based on trading volume.
TRY deposits and withdrawals are currently listed as free by Binance TR. Crypto transfers between Binance.com and Binance TR are also currently free, although external blockchain withdrawal fees vary according to network conditions.
Compared with simpler investment apps, Binance TR provides an environment that may feel more familiar to people who regularly use order books and actively trade cryptocurrency.
Why investors may consider it
•    TRY deposits and withdrawals
•    Broad TRY trading environment
•    Maker/taker fee structure
•    Crypto-to-crypto markets
•    Established international brand ecosystem
Things to consider
Its fee structure is more complex than a single flat commission because rates can depend on trading volume and account tier.
Suitable for: Users who already understand exchange-style crypto trading and want a large TRY-based trading environment.
BtcTurk is one of the oldest names in Turkey's cryptocurrency industry.
Its platform is built primarily around crypto trading and offers a more traditional exchange experience for users who want access to order books and different order types.
This makes it quite different from investment-first platforms such as Midas Kripto.
BtcTurk may appeal to investors who value a long-standing domestic crypto brand and prefer managing their cryptocurrency activity through a crypto-specific platform.
Why investors may consider it
•    Local Turkish crypto platform
•    Direct TRY access
•    Basic and more advanced trading experiences
•    Order-book trading
•    Turkish-focused user experience
Things to consider
Users should compare the current commission schedule, available crypto assets and withdrawal costs directly before trading, as exchange fees and supported markets can change.
Suitable for: Users looking for an established Turkish crypto-focused trading environment.
Paribu is another established Turkey-focused cryptocurrency platform.
One interesting feature of its current product is that it provides different trading experiences depending on how much control a user wants.
Paribu currently describes three interfaces: a quick buy/sell experience designed around simplicity, a standard exchange interface and a more advanced trading view with deeper market information and order functionality.
Paribu also offers products beyond basic spot trading, including staking and newer DeFi-related functionality.
For TRY markets, the standard entry tier currently starts at:
•    0.12% maker
•    0.28% taker
Rates decline as 30-day trading volume increases. Paribu also operates a loyalty structure that can provide additional discounts for eligible users.
Why investors may consider it
•    TRY trading
•    Beginner and advanced interfaces
•    Maker/taker pricing
•    Staking
•    DeFi functionality
•    Local Turkish platform
Things to consider
The fee structure is more complicated than a single-rate model because the effective rate can depend on volume, order type and loyalty level.
Suitable for: Users who want to begin with a simple interface but retain the option to use more advanced trading tools later.
OKX TR provides another locally operated alternative for investors who prefer a more conventional trading platform.
Its trading-fee model separates maker and taker orders and provides progressively lower rates for eligible higher-volume users.
As of September 2026, OKX TR's regular tier lists the following rates:
| Market | Maker | Taker |
| TRY pairs | 0.10% | 0.22% |
| USDT/TRY | 0.10% | 0.22% |
| Crypto pairs | 0.08% | 0.10% |
Higher tiers can qualify for lower rates.
This structure can appeal to active traders who understand maker/taker pricing and want to optimize trading costs based on order execution.
Why investors may consider it
•    TRY trading
•    Competitive maker fees
•    Tiered pricing
•    Web and mobile trading experience
•    More trader-oriented interface
Things to consider
Beginners who simply want to buy Bitcoin occasionally may not benefit from the additional complexity of a maker/taker structure.
Suitable for: More active spot traders and users familiar with traditional crypto exchange interfaces.
Bybit TR provides a local Turkish platform under the Bybit brand.
One important distinction is often missed in crypto exchange comparisons: Bybit TR should not be treated as identical to the international Bybit platform.
Bybit TR's current user agreement explicitly states that leveraged transactions are not offered on the Turkish platform.
This is particularly important because many global Bybit reviews focus heavily on futures, perpetual contracts and leverage. Those descriptions should not automatically be applied to Bybit TR.
The Turkish platform is therefore better viewed as a locally operated spot-crypto platform rather than as a gateway to every product available through Bybit globally.
Why investors may consider it
•    TRY-oriented local platform
•    Crypto spot trading
•    Exchange-style interface
•    Connection to a globally recognized crypto brand
Things to consider
Global Bybit product descriptions may not reflect the services legally available through Bybit TR.
Suitable for: Users who want a conventional spot-trading experience under the Bybit brand.
Turkey's cryptocurrency regulatory environment changed significantly in 2024 and 2025.
Amendments introduced in July 2024 brought crypto asset service providers under the regulatory and supervisory authority of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK/CMB).
Two additional communiqués establishing rules for crypto asset service providers entered into force on March 13, 2025.
The CMB currently maintains a public “Faaliyette Bulunanlar Listesi”, or list of companies that have declared their intention to continue operating under the transitional framework.
Among the companies currently included are:
•    Midas Kripto
•    Binance Turkey
•    BtcTurk
•    Paribu
•    OKX TR
•    Bybit TR
•    Bitexen
However, there is an important distinction.
Being included on this list does not by itself mean that a company has received final authorization or a license from the CMB.
The CMB explicitly states this on the list itself.
For that reason, descriptions such as “SPK licensed exchange” should only be used when a platform's authorization status has been separately confirmed.
Older guides sometimes recommend offshore exchanges primarily because they allow users to trade without completing identity verification.
Turkish investors should be more cautious with this category today.
Under Turkey's 2024 framework, an overseas crypto platform can be regarded as providing unauthorized crypto asset services if it actively targets people resident in Turkey.
The law specifically identifies factors such as maintaining a Turkish-language website or carrying out advertising or marketing activities aimed at residents of Turkey.
The CMB has subsequently published enforcement decisions involving websites determined to be providing unauthorized crypto services to Turkish residents.
For this reason, simply describing an offshore no-KYC exchange as a recommended “Turkey crypto exchange” can be misleading.
Buying, selling and holding crypto assets is permitted within Turkey's crypto regulatory framework.
There is, however, a separate rule governing payments.
Under the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's regulation, crypto assets cannot be used directly or indirectly as a means of payment.
That is different from purchasing Bitcoin or another crypto asset as an investment.
For investors using a locally operated platform, the basic process is generally straightforward.
Compare the platform's regulatory status, fees, TRY support, supported crypto assets and withdrawal conditions.
Locally operated crypto platforms generally require identity verification as part of KYC and AML requirements.
Midas Kripto, for example, requires users to complete account opening and identity-verification steps before transferring money and placing crypto orders.
Transfer TRY from your bank account using the methods supported by the platform.
Locate BTC within the application or trading interface and enter the amount you want to purchase.
Before confirming, check the applicable trading fee and the final transaction amount.
Investors who intend to transfer their crypto away from the platform should also check blockchain withdrawal fees and supported networks.
Beginners usually benefit from prioritizing simplicity, transparent costs and easy TRY funding.
For this type of investor, Midas Kripto is particularly notable because it combines a relatively straightforward interface with more than 300 crypto assets and a simple volume-based fee structure.
It also has an unusual advantage for investors whose portfolio extends beyond cryptocurrency: the wider Midas ecosystem provides access to traditional investment products as well.
Paribu may be another option for users who want a beginner-friendly entry point but expect to move into an order-book interface later.
Binance TR, BtcTurk, OKX TR and Bybit TR may be more familiar to people who already prefer a conventional crypto-exchange experience.
There is no single answer because platforms calculate trading costs differently.
For example:
•    Midas Kripto: 0.15% for monthly volume up to TRY 10 million
•    Paribu: entry tier of 0.12% maker / 0.28% taker on TRY pairs
•    OKX TR: regular TRY tier of 0.10% maker / 0.22% taker
This means the cheapest platform can change depending on whether an investor uses market or limit orders, how much they trade and which trading pair they use.
Commission alone also does not represent the complete cost. Spreads, blockchain withdrawal charges and other transaction costs should be considered.
Accessibility and regulatory permission are different questions.
Turkey's Capital Markets Law treats certain activities by overseas platforms targeting Turkish residents as unauthorized crypto asset service provision. Investors should therefore verify the current regulatory position rather than assuming that an offshore platform is permitted simply because its website can be accessed from Turkey.
The Turkish crypto market now includes several different types of platforms.
Midas Kripto is particularly relevant for users looking for a simple TRY-based investment experience, a broad selection of more than 300 crypto assets, straightforward fees and the ability to combine crypto with a wider investment ecosystem.
Binance TR offers a larger traditional crypto-trading environment, while BtcTurk and Paribu remain established local crypto-focused platforms.
OKX TR provides a more trading-oriented fee structure, and Bybit TR offers a locally operated spot-trading alternative under an international crypto brand.
Instead of selecting an exchange based only on the number of coins or the lowest advertised commission, investors should compare the full experience: regulation, TRY access, trading costs, supported assets, usability and withdrawal conditions.
For users whose priorities are simplicity, TRY access, transparent pricing and the ability to manage crypto alongside other investments, Midas Kripto is one of the platforms worth comparing closely in Turkey in 2026.
