On June 4, an unexpected announcement about a new crypto project named as the “TRUMP Wallet” caught the attention across the social media. The post came from two official X accounts (formerly Twitter), first is GetTrumpMemes and the other is MagicEden. They claimed that the $TRUMP Wallet was going to launch soon and invited the supporters to join the community. But things took a confusing turn when the family denied having anything to do with the wallet. The President’s family might take legal action in this case.
Donald Trump Jr., co-founder of WLFI, quickly stepped forward to clarify. He said this project was not linked to the Organization or WLFI. He added that his company would be launching its own official wallet in the future.
Eric Trump also said he had “no knowledge” of thid Wallet announcement and was completely unaware of any such project. In a rare move, the youngest son, Barron, also commented online, saying that the family had “no participation in this.”

Their responses hinted at a deeper issue, a split within the President's family’s growing crypto network. While the sons are building their own digital currency platform through WLFI, another ally, Bill Zanker, is connected to the meme coin project behind this project.
The announcement came from the @GetTrumpMemes handle, which is owned by FightFightFight LLC. This organisation is known for introducing the $TRUMP memecoin and is co-owned by CIC Digital LLC.
This connection makes the whole situation even more confusing. If the organisation launching this new wallet is partially owned by a Trump-linked company, the question arises why are the president's sons denying involvement?
Some users online have begun to speculate that the accounts making the announcement, GetTrumpMemes and Magic Eden, may have been hacked. But that theory seems unlikely since both accounts posted similar messages within minutes and have not deleted them. Also, no follow-up apology or clarification has been issued, and both accounts still stand by the announcement. Ripple CTO, David Schwartz also pointed out the whole situation by posting a tweet on his social media handle X.
This is also anticipated that if it is fake or a scam, the users that have signed already given their email address, contact number and other information, need to stay alert.
Eric has stated that they will be taking legal action against the launch of this project. He emphasized that there was “no agreement” on this product and that it was “not approved.”
At the same time, Bill Zanker, a longtime business partner of the President, has stayed silent. He has not responded to any press inquiries and is avoiding public comment. Zanker is said to be the driving force behind the TRUMP memecoin project, previously this project also got criticism for the grand dinner hosted.
On one side, the sons are building their own regulated digital currency business, having already raised $550 million. On the other side, Zanker and others are pushing meme coin-style products using the president's name. After this whole information there is a movement in the price of Magic Eden, it has increased by more than 20% and the trading volume skyrocketed by 3407% within the last 24 hours currently trading at $1.02 as per the CoinMarketCap
This Wallet launch has created a storm of questions. Is it real? Was there a hack? Or is this a battle between two competing Trump-linked crypto groups? Legal action from the U.S. President’s part will set an example for others to be careful before using his name in any such rumors and deceptive announcements.
For now, the mystery continues and the President's family looks ready to head to court to protect its name.
