BlockDAG News: BDAGUSD Buyback Update Leaves Key Questions Open

BlockDAG says BDAGUSD minting begins October 13 for its first buyback distributions. Can you check that it happened?

This BlockDAG News report lists what the announcement promises and what you can verify, as of October 13, 2026. No contract address, issuer name or mint transaction was found in the sources reviewed.

A dashboard balance isn't cash. Minting a token isn't a payout.

What the BDAGUSD Minting Update Says

BlockDAG says the first rollout was delayed by legal and regulatory requirements. It now plans to issue the token through a different legal entity and jurisdiction.

The announced distribution order is:

  • Verified BUYBACKNOW purchases first

  • All other eligible buyback holders next

  • Later batches on a published schedule

The presale deadline has moved again too. NEW BDAG is listed at $0.0000000007 with code BUYBACKNOW.

BlockDAG USD is also the label market sites use for the BDAG to USD price pair. Don't mix the two up. BlockDAG's own post warns against unofficial tokens until the official address is out.

The issuer matters. The Seychelles regulator's notice dated September 7, 2026, says DAG SYSTEMS LTD had no authorisation under its virtual asset law.

It says that company was dissolved on October 18, 2025. The sources reviewed don't link the new issuer to it.

This BlockDAG News check also finds a wording gap. The October 12 post promises a "first USDT buyback payout." The October 13 update says BlockDAG USD allocations will be credited instead.

How Can Holders Verify the Payout?

Check these five items yourself:

  • Contract: the address matches across official channels

  • Mint: a transaction with a time and amount appears on the official explorer

  • Issuer: named company, jurisdiction and documents you can read

  • Redemption: clear rules, limits and fees for swapping to USDT

  • Credit: tokens or USDT show in your wallet, not only the dashboard

CoinMarketCap Data shows Legacy BDAG price at $0.00001824, up 25.02% in a week. It lists 92.62B self-reported circulating supply. It doesn't show BDAGUSD.

The Bottom Line

This BlockDAG News review finds an announced start but no contract, issuer or mint evidence yet. Treat the first BDAGUSD buyback as unverified until the explorer, issuer papers and redemption terms appear. Check again once the 48-hour details are published.
