Binance has confirmed that it will support the APX token swap to ASTER tokens. On October 1, 2025, at 5:00 UTC, Binance will pause APX trading to complete the process. All APX-token will be converted into ASTER-token at a 1:1 ratio, with trading for new asset expected to restart by 8:00 UTC the same day. Along with this the Airdrop Checker for new token is live for eligibility.

The ASTER-token is the new native asset of Aster-DEX and will play a key role in governance, ecosystem rewards, and long term sustainability. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is scheduled for September 17, 2025, the same day the APX-upgrade page will go live.
Upgrade Page Launch – September 17, 2025
The official page where users can exchange their APX-tokens into ASER tokens will go live. It is also the same day when the new token ASTER officially launches.
DAO Holders Unlock – September 16, 2025
People who have locked their APX into APX-DAO as veNFT (vote-escrow NFTs) can unlock them a day earlier without paying any penalties.This means a free chance to get the asset back to be ready for the exchange.
Rewards Ended – September 11, 2025
The rewards program for APX-DAO holders (extra tokens for staking/locking) has already ended. If someone still has unclaimed rewards, they need to claim them before unlock or exchange, otherwise rewards may be lost.
No Limit on Swapping
Holders can swap as many APX-tokens as they want, there is no maximum cap. However, the team suggested swapping early because of the ease of going.
The new ASTER-token follows the merger of Asthereus and APX-Finance, giving the platform a latest identity. Aster Exchange ($ASTER). This merger combines the strengths of both projects. While the swap ratio is fixed at 1:1, users who swap earlier may benefit from smoother processing and faster access.
