BlockDAG is back in the headlines. A new project called ZKP just launched its token presale. It's building on Layer 1 network. Here's the full BlockDAG news update.
ZKP stands for zero-knowledge proof. That's a way to prove something is true without showing the actual data. Think of it like proving you're over 18 without handing over your full ID. BDAG team shared the details over X.

ZKP says it's using this idea for three things:
It's building all of this on top of BlockDAG. BlockDAG is a Layer 1 chain. That means it's a base network, not an app built on someone else's chain. It uses something called DAG-based processing. That lets it handle several transactions at once, instead of one at a time. It also keeps Proof-of-Work security, the same method Bitcoin uses.
A keynote featuring Kevin O'Leary marked the announcement, alongside the presale launch.
ZKP's presale is in Stage 1. Here's what's on the table right now:
Presale prices usually rise stage by stage. Buyers in early stages pay less than buyers later. That's the pitch, at least. It's worth remembering: a presale price is not a market price. It only becomes real once a token trades on an open exchange.
Separately, BlockDAG is running a buyback push for its own BDAG token. A promo code called "EARLY" is at the center of it.
Using the code gets buyers:
BlockDAG's listed buy-in price is $0.00000033 per token, with a stated buyback figure of $0.03. BlockDAG also says claims for Batches 1 through 7 open this week.
A buyback promise is not a guarantee. It depends entirely on the project following through months later. Treat it as a claim, not a fact, until it happens.
BlockDAG says its token rallied after the ZKP news, pointing to a price near $0.00004008, a market cap around $3.66 million, and 24-hour trading volume near $1.52 million.

That spread alone tells you something: this market is thin, and prices move fast on small trading volume. None of that means the numbers are false. It means you should check a live price feed yourself before acting on any figure in this piece.
BlockDAG says its own exchange launch is set for July 17. After that, it's targeting listings on Azbit and Outbit, among others. However, no exact roadmap has been provided yet.
ZKP's presale and BDAG's buyback push are both live right now, with hard dates attached: Stage 1 pricing, a September 1 buyback deadline, and a July 17 exchange launch. Whether ZKP delivers on privacy AI, or BDAG's buyback pays out as promised, won't be clear until those dates pass. This is early-stage, high-risk territory. Treat every number here as a claim to verify, not a promise to bank on.
