Shiba Inu ecosystem announced an airdrop for its TREAT token and has outlined steps for the users to claim this highly anticipated token.

Lucie, the marketing specialist at the Shiba Inu ecosystem, posted on X. The post was an announcement for the TREAT airdrop and the claim process. 

The airdrop commenced on January 10, 2025 and will conclude on the 14th of January at 00:00 (UTC). It is worth noting that the US residents are restricted from taking part in the airdrop due to regulatory concerns.

It may also be noted that the announcement came right after the announcement of TREAT listing on leading cryptocurrency exchanges like KuCoin, Gate.io and Bitget. The users may know that these exchanges have already enabled deposits for TREAT and they can deposit the token for trading slated for tomorrow, January 14, 2025, 11:00 AM (UTC).

An airdrop for the TREAT token launch has been launched for the purpose of distribution of the token to the broader crypto community. 

Steps To Claim TREAT Airdrop

The users first need to have a KYC-verified account in any of the crypto exchanges with TREAT listed. These exchanges particularly include, as mentioned, Bitget, KuCoin and Gate.io. Those willing to participate have the choice to either use an existing Know Your Customer-verified account, or make a new one. If you are making a new account, make sure to do so before the launch date, that is January 14, the TREAT token release date.

Next, you are supposed to visit the official airdrop platform of Shiba Inu. Here, you are required to submit two details - your exchange user ID and the TREAT deposit address. Having done so, your account will be whitelisted. This is to allow you to receive the TREAT tokens.

In the X post, Lucie warned the users to remain cautious of the links they click. It is suggested that the users avoid clicking any links that appear on unauthorized sources during this airdrop event. It will help you stay away from falling prey to scammers. 

Additional TREAT Rewards For Bitget Users

Shiba Inu’s lead Shytoshi Kusama also announced a special promotional event for those claiming the TREAT airdrop on Bitget. Additional rewards of $5-100 worth of Shiba Inu token TREAT have been assigned for these participants.

While the total Bitget reward pool is capped at $200,000 worth of TREAT, the distribution is based on a first-come, first-served basis. However, this reward excludes the previous Bitget initiative that offers 87.45 million TREAT to users who lock their BGB and USDT tokens from January 14-17, 2025.
