In a surprising move, StupidCoin (STUPID) saw a massive 800% price spike in just 24 hours. The stupid coin price jumped from $0.002033 to a high of $0.02446, before settling around $0.01478. This sudden rise brought its market cap to $14.79 million, with $14.13 million in daily trading volume. It has quickly become one of the top memecoin 2025 contenders.

This isn’t the first time this memecoin has made headlines. It was first launched on January 26, 2025, at $0.0227 and hit an all-time high of $0.05374 the next day. However, the price fell sharply after that due to selling pressure, and this had been quiet until now.
It appears that a recent repost by the project team boosted investor attention. The video described the coin as one of the meme coins that will explode, claiming it could 100x or even 1,000x from its current price. The video also praised the coin’s branding, RSI level, and the new website (stupid.com), calling it an undervalued project.

It compared StupidCoin to other famous tokens like Dogecoin, SafeMoon, and Pepe. This sparked a frenzy among traders, and the token saw a quick price rally. As of now, there are over 20,598 StupidCoin holders, and the largest wallet owns 43.6 million tokens.
Despite the crazy price pump, Fred Krueger doesn’t seem excited. In a tweet, he wrote:
“Thanks for asking, but I have no idea why Stupid coin has just gone vertical. The new website is pretty cool however.”
He also added that he owns 12 million StupidCoins, but they’re all locked past 2025. This means he didn’t make any money from the recent rise. According to him, he cannot sell the coins even though they shot up more than 10x in a day. He shared the disappointment in his recent post, stating that cannot sell any because it’s locked and vesting doesn’t start until Jan 2026.
