“Web3 Tokyo 2023” is going to held on the 9th of December, 2023

Upcoming on December 9th (Saturday), the 'Web3 Tokyo 2023' conference will be held online, providing a platform for global audiences to participate and enjoy the event. 

Following the success of last year's Web3 Tokyo 2022 event and with a focus on featuring leading projects in the Web3 industries, we will once again gather for discussions and reflections on this year's developments. Web3 Tokyo is dedicated to fostering relations between Japan and the world, contributing to the ongoing development within the Web3 environment. Our event is endorsed by the Shibuya City Government, featuring a session on their initiatives supporting the startup ecosystem. Additionally, representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry will participate in discussions on Web3.0 policies.

Our discussion will focus on the significance of stablecoins and tokenization in the financial industry and broader blockchain advancements, along with regulations and legal changes linked to tokenization. In recent years, major venture capitalists, including BlackRock, have made substantial investments in AI and blockchain technologies. In this context, we will explore the perspective of innovation investments in the industry, taking into account not only mature startup companies but also emerging early-stage startups. The discussion will cover VC criteria and the support they provide for growth, featuring insights from speakers who invest both in Japan and globally.

The concept of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) has gained traction in recent years, with various projects taking on the challenge of building them. Through discussions, we aim to explore community members' perceptions of DAOs, their organizational design, mission, and consider the conclusions of DAOs and the end design of such organizations.
